The white looks a tad blue on my monitor.

The last shot has what I call the trifecta - face /puck/net, but it's unorthodox for hockey - likely due to your shooting position and you've got 6 potential D3 national champions and not one of them has his stick on the ice. I know the puck's in the air, but it just looks kinda odd to me.

LOL... I know... but it was college club D3... I forgot to put that in the title. Fun hockey, but definately not cream of the crop.

I have lots of problems deciding the temp of an image. I RARELY get it right with hockey...

Shadiow...not sure if you are doing this, but I find that if I take and use a custom white balance off the ice (preferrably skated on ice prior to Zamboni cleaning), I eliminate 99% of any problems with white balance. When I do have a problem, it's a very quick fix in Lightroom, unless the light cycles/color was really bad.

Like Darsk mentioned, your WB looks off...in my case it leans to the green side.

#3 is a great perspective and you must have been lucky (or sneaky) to get yourself into the rafters. I hope you got a good selection from uo there as these can be really neat shots.

I was using a custom WB off the snowy ice after the first period. And then I go into Lightroom and My eyes are totally F'ed or something because everyone keeps telling me they are off. I use a laptop so I can't expect perfection, but I just don't really know what else to do. I can mess and mess and mess with the temp of an image and I still get told that the white look blue and green... My monitor may be a little off, but I think it has more to do with me...

And you should see the shot I did for one of my fellow officials... Graham4 in Rochester MN is a cool rink, you can stand right above the rink and hang over the edge. Makes for some cool shots. My buddy that was with me says... "get out that wide angle and shoot down... So this was shot with the 10-22.
