I don't have a CF reader and the only way I can do it is by using the USB cable. I recorded a movie with it and I don't know how to transfer it to my computer using the USB cable. Does anyone know how to do this? Im using TWAIN on windows 98 so I don't have hte seperate drive for the camera.

I had success tranferring the avi video clips (as well as the regular shots) directly from my S30 (via USB cable) with the ZoomBrowser EX software that came with the camera. My computer has Windows XP, so I don't know if it would work for your Windows 98. I set the software options for the ZoomBrowser EX program to open automatically when my camera was connected by USB, and then automatically copy the images from the camera memory card to a camera window in ZoomBrowser EX (with option to "take no further action" checked). After that I selected the images that I wanted from the camera window on my computer, and pressed the download button. Note: This did not work when I opened ZoomBrowser EX before connecting the camera. It only seems to work when the options are set to have the program open automatically when the camera is connected.

adding to jerry's post....

if zoombrowser is open before connecting the camera, i believe you can click the "import images" button then choose "from camera" and the camera window will open with all the images that are on your card, including video.
