Sorry, this will be my first time using strobes as well as wireless.

Camera: Canon 350D + Skyport Transmitter + ???? what else do I need, cable, strap, etc? and where to get?

Strobe 1: Interfit Stellar 300 strobe + Skyport receiver + ???? cable, strap, etc. do I need and where to get?

Strobe 2: Interfit Stellar 300 strobe, set on optical. Anything else???

And any tips settings to use

Like everyone starting a studio my biggest fears are 1) buying all the wrong accessories, cables, etc., resulting in wasted money and nothing working and 2) buying the wrong things or hooking things up wrong, resulting in something being fried.

I know people have been through this, so please reply.

If the Interfit units have a 1/8" miniplug sync socket, then you don't need anything else.

The receiver comes with the cord you need, and the transmitter mounts on the camera hotshoe.

Your second light will fire via optical slave as you mentioned. A second Skyport receiver may be somewhat useful for metering the lights separately, but certainly not necessary as long as you're in an environment where the optical slave works.

If you buy a Skyport set, make sure you get the "universal" version.
