I am finally getting my D30. I have Mac 9.1. I would like to know how to use raw format with 9.1 and what software I need. I have Photoshop and Graphic Converter. Which card reader would be best, firewire or USB.
Thanks for any info.

FIREWIRE is best choice !!!

I use the Lexar FireWire reader and the data transfer speed difference completely makes up for the time saved vs. USB 1.1 speeds and the cheap cost of USB readers -- although I keep a Zio USB reader for backup anyway. Unfortunately Lexar doesn't make XP drivers for the FireWire reader so I can't use it on my Toshiba laptop as well :(
Still looking for a good batch CRW converter for Mac that is fast and flexible and efficient.
Upgrade to 9.2 if you can, it's a bit faster overall even on G3 and lower machines.
