I was looking at this today. Street price is around $425-$450. I like that I could profile my monitor and create custom printer profiles with it. Wish it was a little cheaper :) I was going to buy an i1 Display 2 but think I am going to wait a little and see what the reviews say about this.

Anyone played with it yet?

So far I'm told that only beta units have been released. I haven't received my reviewers' kit yet. Official release is set for May. I was told yesterday that stores haven't gotten net prices and determined selling price yet.

dtplink,

So, have you - or anyone one else had a chance to try it?, This ColorMunki (http://www.colormunki.com/welcome/photo) - it got a nice review in the print version of Shutterbug.

The big question I would have would be about multiple profiles. Because of a window, the ambient light affecting my monitor changes throughout the day and night. Can I switch monitor profiles on the fly as the sun goes down?

And what about printer profiles? Separate profiles for separate papers? How does that work?

Seems like you cant beat the price if it really is a "total throughput" calibration tool. I am seriously looking at it, but I wouldn't mind reading about the experiences of others.

C'mon Rad, heavy curtains are cheap, cardboard is even cheaper. How important is colour to you?
