Repair of S500

My S500 was dropped and I need to get it repaired. Any recommendations on good places or do I need to just get it back to Canon?

What specifically is broken? Is it the lcd? I replaced mine myself recently on my SD110. Quotes from camera stores were close to the value of the camera when new.
