I bought a 380EX Speedlite for my D Rebel and it did not come with a instruction book. Is there any sites on the web that I can get some information on using this speedlite? I am particularly wondering about the switch that has the green dot and the flash icon and H. What is the difference in these setting? If anyone could help a newbie out?
Thanks!
Rick

Hi rwest
I found this link into amazon.com. At the end of the feature list, they have a link to download the manual. It is about 3MB.

That's for the high-speed synch. Not sure what camera you have, but it allows for synch speeds up to 2000 with a camera that supports it. Of course, you lose lots of range, but it's handy sometimes for ceative stuff. I bought it for my elan IIe, and when the flash is set to "H", it shows in the viewfinder that high-speed synch is active.

See the link to the EOS Flash Bible in the EOS Flash sticky.
