Should I retouch my pictures? I know its my call but I want to preserve the
colors on that pic. I have the Canon A400. I want to download and upload
my pictures online easy and fast.

If you're strictly concerned with downloading and uploading, what you'll need to do is make a resized, smaller, copy of the picture. Editing of hte original size and detail image won't have a significant impact on the size (except insofar as re-saving JPEGs leads to a gradual loss of detail due to re-applying of tlossy compression). General recommendations are to never, ever, ever make changes to the original. Edit a copy (or save as a new file) if you need to edit. And that file should be a lossless form, like TIFF or BMP. As for colour enhancement, sharpening, etc., it really depends on what your goal is.
