This is one of those situations where it's easy to forget about the picture, and concentrate in the engaging activity pursued. SO, nice shot, but what exactly is going on? The obvious I understand, but what is he to do after the ball drops in cup? Just claim a prize? Or is there booze in them colored liquids? And why all the colors? Puzzling indeed! :)

The first impression i got from this photo was that it is the type of photo you find in an instruction manual.
It does a fantastic job at showing DOF and fast shutter speed while maintaining an interesting subject.
It's technically perfect, would i hang it on my wall? I'm not so sure...but it's intreauging non the less.

thank you for the comments, i dont really think its wall worthy timmy, i took a ton of shots from homecoming that day, put side by side they didnt flow too well, i had good pictures but the these behind them was so random...

The depth of field is rather shallow. The thrower becomes a distraction and is out of focus and is an eye strain.

its intended to be that way though...the thrower isnt the focal point of the image, you are only supposed to notice that if you want to, although the DOF choice is a little more shallow than i intended it to be, but not off by much
