I just ordered a 4GB type 1 compact flash card - Kingston Elite Pro.

Reading Kingston's website, they do not include this card in the list of compatable cards for the 20D, stating the max memory is 2GB?

Has anyone tried this card? Will the 20D work with a 4GB card?

Thanks.

I'm not at all sure what there talking about.. I don't own a 4GB CF.. so I can't say for sure,.. but I do own a 4GB MicroDrive and it works flawlessly in the 20D.

The 20D supports FAT 32... so it should have NO trouble with the 4 GB cards. It is only the older Canons that support only FAT16 that can't use a 4GB card.

I have Ridata and an MD (hitachi) and they both work seamlessly

BTW, you might try the Ridata for about 375-400 from mydigitaldiscount.com

Or erwincomp.com have the 4 gig Ultra II for 340. They are out of stock for a while on this one.
