I have had an S40 since Spring 2002. For almost 6 months now I have had an increasingly difficult time getting my photographs to "focus" properly. The focus point in the photos appears to be off center or the depth of field is way too tight (daughter's nose in focus but not her chin).
My sister has had the same issue with her S40 and gave up on the camera & bought something different.
Has anyone out there had any similar experiences and/or suggestions on what to do?
I feel as if the "focusing" software might be out of kilter but found no information on the Canon website.
I appreciate your help as I hate to give up on the camera but will have no choice.
