I guess this goes here also, but whats the normal procedure when everyone cleans the LCD screen? Mine has little greasey spots from my face already. Also, is there anything you can put ontop the lcd screen to avoid scratches?

My father had a packet of stick on screen covers for his palm device thing. I took one of them and cut it to the size of the lcd screen on my 30D. It has been on there for about 7 months and works great. When it gets greasy I just wipe it off with my shirt.

I clean any greasy marks off with my sleeve, or any handy bit of cloth / rag etc. There is no 'normal' procedure, just wipe it with whatever is handy.
You don't need anything to put on top, it already has a protector over the screen. If you should happen to get a scratch (not easy, it's pretty tough) then it just pops off and you fit a cheap replacement protector. People who buy protector screens are just protecting the protector that is already fitted, and not the screen itself .

Still cheaper and easier to replace a screen protector for $1 than the actual camera part.

A little hot breath and whatever clean cloth is handy. I wouldn't waste my time with a screen protector. The screen already has a user replaceable piece of clear plastic over it, and I've found it to be relatively scratch resistant.

yep toilet paper is fine....as long as its at least 3 ply...lol
i wouldn't bother putting anything over the screen, it degrades the quality and believe me you will not scratch it.

I clean mine, as others have said, with pretty much anything at hand, including giving it a wipe over with my thumb, if need be.
You really don't need anything over the LCD cover; it's extremely scratch-resistant, more so than any "protective" film you may try using on it. Anything that would scratch Canon's plastic cover will go through almost any cover you may be using on the way to that. I haven't got scratches on any of my camera LCDs, even though the back and bottom of my 20D and 5D are worn down to bare metal over some fairly large areas.

I use a Ray ban sunglass cleaning micro fiber cloth for my LCD..also lay it on top of the LCD when my camera is packed in the bag to prevent light scratches when not in use.

I use the Invisiblesield too, in fact I use it on all of my devices (cell phone, iPod, etc.). Cleaning it is straight forward of course (I prefer my shirt tail with a counter clockwise motion, but clockwise works well too. I agree that the screen itself is very durable and will not give you any trouble, but I am very cautious with anything electronic.

I use a used Microfiber lens cloth. After i use a Lens cloth for a while, ill replace it with a new one. And use the old one for the screen.
Or.... I just use my soft cotton shirt.
Id like to get a Screen protector to avoid fine scratching or swirls
