Is pictbridge an actual standard and something that helps or is it a gimmick?
Im asking cause i just bought a hp ps c6250 (ashamed to confess i did no research) and dont think it is pictbridge compatible. Im wondering if buying a 40D and a noncompatible hp printer is a stupid choice.
Also what do you think of the printer (PS C6250)? I wasnt looking for anything fancy and it seemed ok.

I did a search and couldnt find any relevant info.

Thanks for any reply.

Don't know. My Dell has this feature (and prints fabulous photos, if you don't mind it being an ink-vampire) but I've never tried it.

So you never use pictbridge?
What do you do then, do you stick the memory card into the printer?
What Dell do you have?
Thanks for your reply.
