I would like to get some imput on who makes the best Photoshop CS3 And Lightroom DVD Tutorals.
I have used DVD tutorals in the past for AutoCAD and they worked really well.
Thanks, Paul

Alternatively, Paul, check out Kelby Training. The range and quality of courses for the fee is much better and cheaper than buying DVDs

I like the process of watching a tutorial to learn vs reading. For me it is just easier. I have saved several hundred of various tutorials and I go through them and turf the ones that deal with subjects that I feel I no longer need.
I would probably go with Lynda.com at this point in time. Kelby training is just getting up to speed and from what I have seen the course content isn't nearly as complete as that at Lynda's site. Plus at Lynda's there are way more courses to choose from than at Kelby. Lynda has a much wider choice if you are looking for something beyond the graphical arts and it is all included for the same price which is pretty close to the price that is charged by Kelby.
I think that Kelby's course outline will ultimately be more comprehensive than others because they are focusing on the Adobe suite.
When I first started to learn photoshop I ended up purchasing a DVD set and it worked well and you had them for life. With the online service such as Kelby and Lynda once your subscription expires you have nothing to refer back to.

And of course there are a ton of free podcasts / QT movies out there...
Photoshopkillertips.com (photoshopkillertips.com/) and lightroomkillertips.com (lightroomkillertips.com/archives/videos) come to mind, as well as photoshopuserTV.com (photoshopusertv.com/) and lightroom-news.com (http://lightroom-news.com/category/lightroom/lightroom-podcasts/)

Rene raises a good point. I joined NAPP a few years ago and it was money well spent not only for the access to some of their tutorials but I have probably saved the membership fee several times over just on the discounts that they have negotiated with a number of different suppliers.

Really? That would have been the case for me too but the free shipping from B&H Photo didn't extend to Canadian customers. I haven't had the need to buy from any of the other discounted vendors, though I WAS about to buy a gorillapod (but luckily received one for my birthday).
