Been an interesting trip...18 hours straight drive, 20 mins sleep, 7 hours of shooting before I just couldn't stand anymore (right Jerry? ha). Computer would't start once I got to the hotel, now days behind in organizing but needed a break so thought I'd post some on the new laptop after Geek Squad said my old comp needs to be re-formated but I dont have the CDs.

I was just thinking earlier tonight of putting up a thread like " Hey Mike - Did you ever make it to Florida?"....been wondering where all the shots of you and Jerry were !

Seems like everything's working fine again. Keep posting !

Nice shots, although I'm not sure that the gesture #4 is making is all that....well, appropriate ;).

Mike, sounds like you're getting old. ;)

Nice shot of Utley.

Yeah, what's with the gesture? Is it a Dominican gang sign or something?

Ronnie, I'm in FL at a golf club resort, all I need is some plaid pants!!

Utley's a good dude, though I cant tell my coloring at all on this laptop.

I thought it was just a peace sign when taking it, then noticed his pinky up - it was a burst so the one before that the finger is kinda down, so no clue what it means.

I got Trav last year in Lansing at the ASG but he wasn't with who I saw - either day off or he was with the AA group. I got the Jays on the road so they didn't bring everyone.

Travis Snyder ... he's from the greater Seattle area (went to Jackson HS) and I saw him play a few times in a summer showcase of sorts put on by a company called Baseball Northwest. He can swing it and is built like a brick poop house.

Mike, I was wondering when you were gonna post some of your shots, so those of us still in the (snowy, believe it or not) North can live vicariously though you and Jerry.

I have no idea what the kid in #4 is doing with his hand, and I speak sign language...

Nice job. Really like the one of Utley. How much longer you gonna be down there, with ST wrapping up this coming week?

I caught him at Dunedin and was struck by his presence among the
major leaguers... This spring, he had a BP session where out of 50 pitches,
he supposedly went yard with about 20, drawing applause among the major league Jays players... The word is he'll be sent to AA New Hampshire...

Mike - Either these are a tiny bit under exposed or my monitor's off -- but I prefer to overexpose so perhaps it's just my opinion. Sure was good to finally meet you the other day at the Astros -- I'll be headed out the door in a few minutes for the Reds Vs Astros there. Can't remember whether you'll be there again or on your way back north. Whichever, you probably won't see this until you're back home anyway.

It's called the shocker. I'll let you all Google the meaning of it.

Except the "peace" part doesn't fit the descriptoin given on Wikipedia. All those signs are fricken stupid, when in history did we decide the middle finger means FU, you do any hand gesture it's a gang sign or means something some idiot decided to give it and it caught on...hm, guess that person wasn't such an idiot.

I saw him in the MWL ASG and he looked good, though his portrait looked more like a mug shot. Keep tryin to track him down but haven't seen him, maybe in AA this year.

Dennis, I leave tomorrow after the 1pm game, well around 3pm so I can make it home in time for practice at 5-7 and then the welcome home party, ok ok, its a dyngus day party/fundraiser but I can claim it as a welcome home party, ha.

NOT happy about going back to the snow.

Nice shootin with ya Jerry, I tried to even the levels out as much as possible so wasn't too over or under. On this moniter I can't tell too good how they look so wont know how they are until I get home.
