I have one and it works fine for some of the things I do. The more lense & extras I get the bag can't handle it. I'm currently looking into the Trekker Photo backpack.

I have a J-1 series from Domke, very good bag, I've only used it once, but my gear is growing fast, need to sell it for a bigger one.

Domkes - love 'em. Been using them since forever. Are you looking at the Original (F2)? That'll easily take a body with long lens on its side and, using the 3-compartment insert, several other lenses/teleconverters (5 or 6 depending on the lens length). Or, with a 2-comparttment insert you culd fit a second body w/ shorter lens. The end pockets work great for film^h^h^h^h flash and the front pockets for batteries, film^h^h^h^h memory cards, filters. A notebook and poncho/large plastic bag in the back pocket, lens tissues, cables, and card reader in the top pocket and you're good to go. You can work out a good combination with almost any of the inserts.

I've got my F1X loaded with 20D (& grip), D60, 15-30 Sigma, 35 f/2 Canon, 28-90, 75-300 IS Canon, 90 Tamron macro, 1.4X Canon TC, 2X Tamron TC, ZR70, filters, 550EX, 420EX, flash bracket & off-camera cord, remote/time controller, batteries & memory cards; I can substitute (with a bunch of juggling) the 100-400IS for the 75-300. It's my main bag now. Even has a little room for a spare film body and the A80.

I miss my Domke, I travelled around Europe with it, I loved the easy quick access and flexibilty. Unfortunatly it was stolen a few years ago along with my camera. The shop that replaced my gear only had LowePro, posh bag, not that practical though, I want my Domke back!
