I'm going to buy a new calibration unit for my monitor, If there is anybody out there who would like to let me know the best calibration kit for the best price it would be apreciated. I would like to know the price and why you think it's the best. Many thanks ahead of time.

I went for the Pantone Huey. The basic unit can be had for about $70. It has a pretty basic set of controls, but does what I need it to do, and the price was right. One thing that is nice about the Huey is that you can leave it plugged in, resting in its cradle, and it will monitor ambient room light and adjust your monitor accordingly.

The best, moderately priced calibrator is the Eye One Display 2.

Everyone jumps on the EyeOne bandwagon like it's the flavor of the month. EyeOne, Spyder3, or SpyderPro2 Plus for that matter are all good for what you want to do. Find the best price and get any of them and you will be happy with the results.
