This is an interesting shot Dave. I like the way the light reflects from it with almost a "Star filter" effect. This is made from glass? Very nice. :D

I enjoyed shooting this. It was definitely a challenge and I am glad it turned out :)

It does look really good. One thing you might try, is put a sheet of velium paper (tracing paper) or some other white translucent paper or cloth, in front of your light. This will spread the light out a bit and rim light more of the bear. The amount will depend on how close you have the light from the paper and the paper from the glass. It will take a little trial and error, but you might find that when you have it placed right, the bear will jump out even more within the glass.
