Very nice shots!
Thanks for sharing.
It's always fun to watch what you all have accomplished.
But
When people show their macro shots I whish they also took a shot of the complete setup at the occasion.
It would be very cool to see how and which equipment was used.
Show us the sink, the bowl of water on the kitchen table or the weird set up you had to fix to get that shot

GREAT - Thanks Andrew! :):):):)
That's exactly what I was talking about, very nice and very informative!
Actually I find that shot nearly as important as the picture itself (OK, that was maybe too much...;))
I'm right now planning/drawing up my own "table-tripod". It will be very flexible and hopefully done in a couple of weeks.

Wow....and my husband gripes cause I am "playing in the sink and wasting water!"--I am impressed at what an invention you have created for a decent shot.....gosh isn't it just amazing what a photographer is willing to do for that one precious moment?!
Thanks for sharing your rig and your fantastic achievements!

lol i got banished to the dining room
which has now become the local branch of drop shots anonymous
thanks for all your comments.
i'm guessing that a proper macro lens will give me a tad more sharpness over the extension tube?

Black on yellow looks really good. I likehow the liquid looks really viscous in these shots. Like treacle or something. Jam? Mmmmm jam.
