Directly off TriCoast's Imaging (Nationals) and WPPI speaking engagements, TriCoast has the honor of teaching a workshop in on of our dearest friends, Connie Irwin's AMAZING studio in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Come join members of International and award winning photographers from TriCoast Photography and Suzy Roberts of Suzy Makes It Hot for this VERY HANDS ON AND INTENSE workshop which is limited to only 20 students. This smaller class size will allow a more realistic and relaxed learning environment for everyone involved.

A Three day HANDS-ON workshop with:

Kodak's World Wide Photographers to Watch for 2008 - TriCoast Photography (http://www.tricoastworkshops.com)
and
Suzy Makes It Hot (http://www.suzymakesithot.com)


Day #1:

Starting the day off learning the detailed aspects of your Canon and Nikon flash units (models included: 420ex, 430ex, 550ex, 580exI, 580exII, wireless transmitters - SB 600, SB 800)

* eTTL and iTTL settings
* Ratios
* Manual Mode
* Zoom
* Custom Functions
* Positives and Negatives of the IR system of Canon and Nikon

After learning the basic of your flash unit, the basic concept of using wireless flash units outside in all lighting situations, the entire class will be broken up into smaller groups to advance the students learning curve. Using LIVE MODELS the students will both photograph using wireless flash as well as light the images for other photographers in their small group.

Being "tested" in many aspects of lighting from mid-day sunlight to golden hour lighting, the student will learn how to capture images in ANY form of light at any time of the day, giving the student the freedom to set their own time for shooting in their own business.

After a full day of shooting, the class will break up and go to dinner on their own and regroup when the sun goes down to learn video lighting techniques

* Types of video lights (expensive to inexpensive lighting aspects)
* Inexpensive light modifiers for video lights
* Positives and Negatives of using a video light
* How TriCoast uses video lights in our business

Breaking into the small groups once again the students will photograph the models using video lights of all sizes and shapes from inside and outside situations.

Day #1 ends late in the evening.


DAY #2 - Starts approximately 9am

Starting the day in the classroom going over Pocket Wizards and the positives and negatives of this method of wireless flash photography.
Channels
Camera Attachements to different flash units
Shutter Speed Limits
Advantages and DisadvantagesThen going outside and using the Pocket Wizards in your photography in smaller groups

Breaking for Lunch

Coming back to "outside classroom" and learning the Radio Popper Method
Layout of Product
Advantages and Disadvantages
How the product works, etc.Then heading outside to photograph using the Radio Popper Units on your flash units blending both methods together.

Day #2 ends around 3-5pm


DAY #3 - Classroom and PhotoShop Tips and Tricks - Starting at approximately 9am

Starting the day off with snacks and other goodies and having a laptop will assist the student in following along with both TriCoast and Suzy Makes It Hot in showing all aspects of their PhotoShop tips and tricks.

Basic Knowledge of f/stop, shutter speed, ISO and how they relate to your camera exposure
Basic knowledge of what a flash unit can do
Laptops, notepad and writing items
Monopod or Tripod for outside shooting (if you normally use one)
A GOOD ATTITUDE!!! We do not want any Debbie Downers or Poopy Heads! Lots of photographers and different learning aspects, we just want to learn and have a great time!!!

PRICE FOR 3 DAY HANDS ON LEARNING WORKSHOP (not a high dollar environment full of fluff and non-learning aspects. We try and keep the price of the workshop low and the educational learning aspects high. Money is hard to come by and on should feel their hard earn dollar has been worth spending.

Just wanted to let everyone know that TriCoast workshops are amazing. I couldn't be more sincere in saying that it was the best money I've spent toward my photography.
