I am giving Zenfolio a trial. I would appreciate thoughts and comments. I am still tweaking and don't have much uploaded as of yet. To those of you using Zenfolio, how fast is a 60mb upload for you? I have not yet taken photos that I intend to sell so that part is not yet set up. Any comments, suggestion and or opinions would be a big help. This is my first attempt at online hosting. Thanks in advance!
My site is www.dfetner.zenfolio.com (http://www.dfetner.zenfolio.com) :)

I like having the contact info right up front. Maybe it's just my widescreen monitor, but there sure seems to be a lot of open space on the right :|

The site layout looks fine. The bio is helpful and well done. As you can tell from my signature, I also use zenfolio and like I it a lot. The feedback from people visiting the site has been very positive. You will enjoy zenfolio.

Your best images are where you shoot tight and the player is facing the camera. Two suggestions, for basketball, you will need a SS faster than 1/320 to get rid of motion blur and bump up the exposure a bit.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. This was a first attempt at basketball, no post processing. How much of a bump in exposure would you suggest?

You will like it, Zenfolio is the best. I gave them all a trial; SmugMug, Zenfolio, Exposer Manager, PBase or w/a it is, and found that Zenfolio is the easiest to use.

I would recommend a little more separation in your main groups. If you do decide to stay with Zenfolio you might find that the way you are categorizing photos now will result in mass confusion with many main groups. I am actually looking into ways right now to put mine in more sub groups, I feel as if it needs more separation.

All in all you will enjoy your stay at Zenfolio, and I can guarantee you it will outlast the trial period.

You need to have the premium account ( i can't remember exactly what's it called ) to be able to remove the zenfolio logo.

Well,...I'm even more of a noob than you and I give it two thumbs up.

Good grief. I blew over 8 hours wrestling with Exposure Manager's style-sheets and whatnot just to rid the appearance of the dated archaic look of the EM galleries. It just wasn't happening. After reading the above responses and looking around at Zenfolio I just dove head-first into a premium account. Working on my first batch upload in fact. Screw EM and it's retro appearance. It screamed "amateur" to me, not to mention it's no fun to set up...even for somebody with a little bit of html experience. So far I'm having fun with Zenfolio. And really, I think "having fun" is an important part of doing what any of us is doing in regard to photography....

A little late, but I was using EzPrints until they stopped offer that lab. Now I use Mpix.

Zenfolio is made of win, I will always say that.
