The bug is good, but you need to get much closer to the dog. :)

I love this lens =) My second most favorite lens, but when I have it on I always see birds, not insects and I end up having to change to a longer telephoto lens. It's a shame.

It's a great lens. I was walking my dog outside and saw the grasshopper nearby so I ran inside to get my camera. Very satisfied with it. :)
