Best memory card for the A70???

Subject says it all....I am looking for input about the best memory card for my new A70 so I can start post pics. :D :D

None of their speeds will matter on the A70, it's a slow camera. :(

Anything thats at least 128mb, anything smaller and you start to run short on space.

The camera is not fast enough to warrent a fast card, however it will make a differnce if your useing a card reader to transfer the photos to your comp.

If your like me though and running out of USB ports and your to lazy to use a card reader then any CF card will do.

If you are using 640x 30sec. video, then a faster card will be usefull. A regular card saves the 30sec video in 6-8 sec. My 1gb 60x card saves the same file in 3 sec.

Ditto, if you use the continuous exposure mode. With a faster card the camera can take more pictures at full speed (~2/sec) before it has to slow down. E.g., mine went from ~3 to ~10 when I replaced the supplied card with a Sandisk Ultra II, 256MB.

SanDisk makes good, reliable cards. The lowest price isn't necessarily the best way to go, as you may end up with a cheap, unreliable card.

How does the a85 compare with the a70 as far a speed goes? Wouold the high speed CS be benificial to the a85, or is it in the same boat as the a70?

Put it this way i use the slowest Kingston 1GB CF card in my G6 because it is nearly as fast as my 512MB 40X PQI one. The cameras we are talking about cannot use the extra speed.
