I will be visiting NYC soon, and want to buy some equipment, but would like to avoid sales tax so that counts BH out. Any suggestions? Can I order from Amazon and have it delivered to my hotel???

I will be spending a few months in the US with them, and then going to my other home in Oz.

Are you spening ALL of your time in NY? If you are visiting friends or relatives in another state as well, you could order now, and have it shipped there. Then they will be waiting for you when you get there.
