I've had this bike here in Italy now for 6 months, I finally got around to taking some pics. I processed them in period brochure style.

right, I was born in Trieste and spent 25 years there... I liked so much your pictures of it during Christmas time :D I know Pordenone very well too... had a gf there for a long time and I think it's a very nice city, loved the green of the meadows there... Spring is an amazing season ;)

thanks I'm glad you liked the photos of Trieste and I am looking forward to Primavera here in Pordenone.....I went out today and shot some infrared around Portogruaro. How long are you in Japan for?

Good light on it. I like the last one best. Might be better higher/lower so the horizon didn't intersect the bike.
Generally, I'd like to see less DOF, like in #2 where the trees growing out of it are really distracting?

I stayed in Kyoto for four years and I'm gonna stay here another year for sure... this place has so many photo opportunities, I'm sure your IR will work very well here :)

I agree with your comments Frank, these were not taken with as much care as I would for a feature.....but I liked the result with the light and effects so I posted anyway.

I've only had a stopover of two days in Japan, would love to go back for more....one day.
