I don't wanna pay the store price for it. I don't know where to find one for less than a 100 bucks.

Seems unreasonable.

B&H has the BG-E1 grip for $99.95. Shipping would put you over the $100 barrier though.

He sells a bunch of them and it is the best price I have found anywhere.

Yeah and the extra border costs are a pain to. In fact now on the buy/sell boards I look for canadian sellers, just to avoid the extra taxes!

The biggest cost bringing camera equipment to Canada from the US is shipping.
There are no extra tarriffs or anything. Just shipping + PST +GST.
But don't feel too bad. The battery grip for the 20D, which is amost identical to the 300D battery grip, costs $300cdn!

Dris,

It is the extra taxes (and shipping) that really don't make it worth it for me. If you are buying anything expensive the GST and PST are 15% for ontario fold. If I order from canada privately I don't have to pay tax. If I order from another province through a store there is only gst (they can't charge you their sales tax and there is no custums at the province border).

Every little bit counts. On big purchases that 15% can go to something else for my camera. ;-)
