Longboard surf pics- trying out the new lens

Recently picked up a 300mm F/4 L and haven't had much time to use it so I went down with my brother to shoot a few of him longboarding. Waves were so so but the lens works great. Thought I would share the few that came out alright-

Lens looks ok to me. Surfing is a difficult sport to shoot. I use the 100-400 and most of my shots are cropped...could do with the new 800 F5.6!

Metering can be a big problem if you have much white water...I use half a stop under and use PS2 to correct.
