An Old Door

This old door was pretty cool, but I didn't like a few things that showed up in color, so I de-saturated, and then un-desaturated the pull.

I like old stuff like this.

I like this a lot. The desaturation of the wood gives it a very nice effect along with the rusty knob and the patterns make all the photo interesting.

The light comes from the upper left so the composition works even better, as you "placed" the knob in that area.

your shot has good texture, and "feel". i think the birds up there are getting scarce. not to fret guys, i'll bet theres a bird behind the door. Scott locked some up so they couldn't fly south! :lol: :lol:

I like old stuff too Scottes. Somewhere I have a shot of an old abandoned farmhouse that I took with my old G1 - one of my favorite images.

Very nicely done ... I need to try that effect.
