How much do you think the same fitting would cost if it said Lamborghini on it?
That's how they make a profit. Look for a brass step-up without the name.

If you have a problem and it solves you problem, it is worth it. My company sells sticker for $25 a piece. Is it worth it ? Probably not but they still sell them. Go figure. Items that are NOT mass produced have a higher mark up. The old rule of supply sand demand. Low demand-specialized item = high cost..

Because the threads are PERFECT.

It would only take me about a heartbeat to make those threads UN-perfect.

Sometimes I feel like Bad Luck Schleprock (I hope the Title Faries don't see that)

Anything made in Germany, U.S.A., Japan, or Switzerland = $$$ but you can rely on the quality.

Anything made in China, India, Pakistan, = $ but you can not rely on the quality.

(apply this to absolutely anything you wan't to buy).

You realize thats not an all inclusive statement You can buy junk anywhere...if the company is not worried to much about its reputation.
