I have a Rebel G or Rebel 500. The AF has started to front focus very badly. It is not really a worry it would cost way more to fix than it's worth. My question is, are there any companies that have manual focus screens for these cameras. The camera is kind of sentimental to me and I still plan on using it.
Thanks in advance.

You can use manual lenses on Canon EF mount cameras, but if you want "AF confirmation" you'll need either an EF lens set on MF, or a so called (Chinese import) "Af confirm" chip, search eFrayThe thing is, do you know if your problem is in the camera or in the lens? There are several manual focus lenses which can be adapted to Canon EF, not the least os which are "m42" (The old Pentax screw mount), Tamron Adaptall, Contax/yashica, Pentax bayonet, and !!!Nikon!!! lenses.

Thanks for the response. The problem is with the camera. I screwed it up trying to fix something else.

Looks like you could score a new body on Ebay for $20 plus shipping. Just a thought if you enjoy the film camera.
