I have a Canon 5D and use Aperture as my editing program. I want to shoot in Raw so I can do a better job in editing. White balance ect.

I know the 5D can shoot in both raw and jpeg simultaneously but how do you separate the files after the download?

I would like to work with the raw file and save it in jpeg so it will be easier to upload to Snapfish or similar file sharing service.

Thanks for any help. Fred Grant

The files are written separately to the cart, best downloaded using a card reader rather than the cable that plugs into the camera - it's quicker easier and more reliable. Tweak the RAW, save to jpg, then upload. Shooting RAW+JPG is unnecessary in my workflow (which is linked from my sig below).
