Phottix Remote Install Help

I just received my phottix remote and I do not know how to plug it into my camera. The transmitter I have has a headphone jack on the end, but on my 30D it has a weird plug for the flash. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like you may have ordered or been sent the wrong one.

yea, if you have a 30D, you got the wrong one. you need the one made for the xxD series, not the xxxD series.

It clearly says it's for the 350D/400D/XTi rather than the 30D so you got the wrong one. But these are good items and so you can sell it at minimal loss and order the right one ;-) I have had 2 of them.

As mentioned already that is the wrong one. A tip though is to order the less expensive C3 and they'll send you the updated Cleon.

I will look into that.
There advertisement is confusing. This is why I though it was for a 30D.
Compatible with:
Canon EOS 30/33/50/300/300D (Digital Rebel)/350D(Rebel XT)/400D(Rebel XTi).
I perceived that as 30D /33D /50D /300D

the canon EOS 30 is the ELAN 7. make sure you look out for the "30D" in particular. =/

The Cleon is much better but near double the price. They also have a nice intervalometer for 40$ too.
