Last week I was able to catch a Blue Angels practice at the NAVY base in Pensacola. Comments/critiques welcomed.
I was really bummed however, I didn't bring my 70-200 on my trip so all of these were with a 24-70.

Yeah some of those are a lot tighter than I expected to see taken with the 24-70. Great shots, thanks for sharing.

Nice shots; I really like the museum photos and the F-18 shot from the rear really works for me. Well done!

Ahhh... the memories. I was stationed there for seven months in 97/98. They buzzed our barracks all of the time.
Excellent job!!! You did a great job in using the lens you had with you. Wish I had the camera gear and knowledge when I was there that I have now.

Sorry, but IMAGE POSTING RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718) only allow 8 embedded pics by the OP per thread, so I removed the IMG tags from the last ones. You can always just post a link to them, though.

Fantastic! Really dig the first one!
I'm not really into aeronautic photography, but seeing some of these photos has got me itching to go to the Red Bull Air Race in Detroit later this summer.

I've seen some footage on television but haven't really dabbled much in terms of photography/footage from amateurs. I'm definitely tempted to go, weather-permitting (look for an onslaught of questions by me requesting how to shoot aero-photography in a month!! ;)).

Do a quick search here in the transportation forums for "red bull" You'll see some pretty sweet photos from others.
