Is there any benefit in using a flash bracket outdoors during the day, either as direct flash or flash fill?
Also for those who have the Newton di100FR2, how do you like yours? I am leaning towards this bracket.

Day or night, the benefit of flash bracket should be the same, I would think so.

Sometimes a bracket can be helpful outdoors, depending on how close the background is.
A bracket would have helped with this shot:

But no need for one in this shot:

The shadow, instead, would just have been under the brim of the hat, darkening the forehead and the eyes area. :p
