Is this the appropiate section for these pics? Im not sure, but here they are.

Fortunately, it rained the next day and the fire was extinguished.

Is this the appropiate section for these pics? I don't think it would work in landscape, so this is a good as anyplace else? Good shots.

I thought about landscape, nature and transportation. Since the main subject are the helicopters fighting the fire I thought I would put them here... but all I see in this section are pretty shots of cars, planes,etc... and only you and black_z commenting these pics so perhaps this isn't the right spot.

Love the first shot, capturing the water/dirt being dropped just at the right time. Just a shame about the sky being bland, but u can't do anything about that.

thanks. There was too much smoke in the background, that's why the sky looks dull.

I get hay haulers, tail lights without cars, train tracks without trains, plowing competitions, rowboats, prison barges, Ferris Wheels, dredgers & squirrels on water skies too, so I'm used to it.
