I just made a post in a thread, and now I can't get back into it, yet I can go into any other thread on the site.

I have the same problem. I was typing in a post and went to preview it. I typed a little bit more and went to preview it again and nothing happened. Now, the thread (http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=47497&sid=a89bf8c95f2b4ad7562507b 5cb7340bf) is totally inaccessible.

Yeah, well I have another thread of mine now that's not working! This sucks!
Notice how the mods and admins just jump on this problem?!
Of course, I'm joking.

Glad to see it's not just me.
I can get into some threads but not all.

Apparently, the ones who actually "work" on this site don't care at all about the issues and faults, and don't care that members can't make any posts or go back into other threads.
I am seeing myself on here less and less. What good is it to be here if I can't get into half of the threads?!
That's obviously why there's ALWAYS less members on here than guests!

If you'd care to give links to threads that do not open it would be much more helpful than just to rant.
The only reason some threads do not open (so far about 7 in last year, and all fixed) is that image embedding size detection code halts because server from where images are supposed to be shown from is not responding. Because of this it may be that sometimes it works sometimes not because poster's server may be flakey.
I'm considering removing the image size code because of this.

It seems to be working now. I would have posted a link, but seeing as I couldn't get into it, there was now way of getting the link.
I think that the size detection code had a bug in it or something, because I notice you have removed it and the thread opens just fine now.
I host my own website, and thought that is might have been slowing down or lost the IP, (which it has never done), but at any rate, I rebooted it hoping I would be able to get into the thread, but that didn't work either. Not to mention I could go to other forums where I have posted pictures and they all worked fine.
Anyway, it's all done and overwith now.
Thanks and sorry for the ranting.
