I definitely like the color version better. The black and white isn't contrast-y enough.

Black and white seems a little muddy to me. I love the water looking like a sea of smoke.

Punch up the orange in the sky? The green and orange are the strongest colors. I like the color contrast and wonder what it would look like with more

First one is excellent. The black and white is very bland though.

Just out of curiosity how many ND filter did this take or what was the final exposure compensation?

As you can see it was cloudy and the sun was setting. The shot was taken with my 24-105 so I had to crop out a lot of vingetting (that cant be spelled right) If you I add a graduated ND.9 to the above I can usally get between a 10-15 second exposure with an overcast sky mid day.
