The second pic (peeking around fence) is great. Great composition & cropping. The lean of the dog nearly matches the angle of the grass. Nice! A great image.

The first pic doesn't do anything for me. That's the kind of pic only the dog's owner can love.

the first one seems just like a "snapshot", whereas in the 2nd one the dog seems to be up to something! :D
