I have done some pornography in the past but I have been approached by a company to do it full time. I am really considering it is there any one that does this?
It is for a fairly large UK hardcore mag. Is there anything I should be looking out for? Any advice?

Go to a lawyer and get all the i's dotted and t's crossed. There can be some unsavory types working in that industry and it is better to be safe than sorry.
I've never done what I would call porn but have done some nude photography and I always ensure that the signed releases that I get are accompanied by a photocopy or scan of picture id and a further signature that they verify that the id is a valid government issued id.

Have you ever noticed how builders houses always need work done, and how cleaners houses are always messy? You sure you want to shoot this full time?

I've shot various fetish content and it was fine, paided well. Get a contract, get paid in advance and get a lawer and you're set.

I'd get a "nom de shutter" and set it up as a legal "dba" (doing business as...)
A stage name if you will...
Seriously. You may be 110% ok with working in the adult entertainment industry but what about future non-adult industry clients?

Wow, I just checked out your site, and it's a bit unsettling that you have 'adult' photos as well as portraits of little toddlers on it.
But if this is really the line of work you want to get yourself into, just make sure you protect yourself legally. Your reputation, if you should decide to leave and pursue other forms of photography later on, may be harder to salvage.
Think about it long and hard (no pun intended). There might be money in it, but is it really worth it? I'm not preaching morally, I don't care, porn is fine. I'm talking professionally - if you're known as a porn shooter, or former porn shooter, will it drive away other potential business? If that isn't a concern for you, then go for it, but make sure you have legal protection, and be extra careful about your subjects - go out of your way to make sure and to prove that each and every one of them is of legal age.

Yea.. once you start shooting adult.. you can never shoot people under 18 again.. now there may be no HARD law the stops it.. but I have know dozens of photographers.. that try to do both.. and all it take is one minor to lie.. the police show up to your door.. and all hell breaks out..
if you do adult work.. don't ever shoot minors again..

Generally I do not really shoot minors anyways. Only time I do is when the parent or guardian who is always over 18 is present at the time of shooting.
I have been shooting art nude / erotic / fetish stuff for a while now and it has never affected my other business.
