I have almost convinced myself to upgrade to the 1Dmk2 and will have no need for my brand new 20D. I have owned it for around 2 months and bought it with a battery grip(BG-E2) and a second battery(Canon BP511A). The camera is in perfect condition with no wear on the body or brassing on the hot shoe. I have taken maybe 350 shots with it.

All original packaging and manuals are included and warranty has not yet been registered. I don't know how much to ask for this but my ivestment is just over $1750 not including shipping.

Please make reasonable offer if you are interested.

Best,

Darrin

Darrin,

Sorry to hear it. I for one skipped the 1DMK II and went for the 20D. Plenty fast for me and my needs. I keep upgrading so I just did not want to go for 2 at the price of 4K each and have a total investment of 8K or so. I for one like to put my money in glass that to me is the best investment. The body’s I keep upgrading EOS1V,EOS 3,D30, D60, 10D, 20D and what ever is next. I for one feel the 1D MK II is over priced. They both are 8 pixels. Keep using the 20D it is the best so far and I just love the A/F over the last 3 "D" cameras. Save your self some $$ Green and buy a really nice lens. :D

Angelo,

The 20 D is a great camera and I have no issues with it. I just want the wider field of view and the 1DMK2 has the best I can afford. Please don't take me selling it as a slam, i really like the camera.

Cheers,

Darrin

if you want FOV, why not get a 1Ds (used).
I'll be interested in a 20D soon, but I'm not gonna make any offers now because I don't need it right now.

They list it at full retail, do you need to call them for that price?

I've heard that if you bitch and moan about the digicam sale price you can get it.

Are you offering the camera for sale here?

If so, then you might have this thread moved to the marketplace section.

Disclaimer ... I'm not interested in the camera at the moment (on top of that, I live in Europe), I just wanted to be helpful

Best regards,
Andy
