What do you guys think of this shot representing "Action" for my class in photography
normally I would think I would get a shot of maybe a bird in flight but our weather and time of the year is not good right now. It cant be a previous photo.
I used selective coloring to accentuate the reasoning for action.

I like the use of selective color but maybe consider using Hearts or Diamonds and leaving the card suit red and the rest B&W. Drawing a flush is definately reason for action but I think the red suits would make it stand out better...
Just my $0.02...

This is a great concept..I also agree about the red cards..and it looks like a Straight Flush, I would be pushing my chips fast!:D

Cool! Try making the community cards black and white and leaving your cards red. The nerve-racking element of the two cards that you own can cause a lot of action, commotion, and will instill a lot of thought amongst the players when you play against them in future hands. Plus, the royal-flush flop stands out enough without the color I think.

I don't understand half the thread as I don't play these card games, nor gamble. But I assume the action should be in moving the chips forwards towards the cards? If so, then I think having the stronger hand impression forwards would prevent the illustion of the hand withdrawing.... You might need to change the angle of the hand to make it all work well, with the stronger forward position not totally smothering the earlier one.... Cool concept. Cheers, Tony

Tony, its a double ontondra (sp?) Action, as in the movement. Also action is a nickname for gambling.
Its a good shot. I agree with making it a Heart or Diamond suit. The red would tie in a lot better with the red card back. And make the chips red as well. And don't cut off the edge of the lower card at the bottom of the image.
I want to say make the flash fire on the second curtin. But I think the blur would not be overly noticed.
