Last night I shot the dress rehearsal for a world premier production of Cowtown - a play of death, police corruption, drugs, and sex. Interestingly, the play is set in contemporary Calgary and the playwrite is one of the local up-coming talents. Rogues Theatre in Calgary (see http://www.roguestheatre.com/index.html ) mounted this show.

Khari Jones, one of the actors, was the Canadian Football League's most valuable player in 2001. It is nice to see his transition into a very good stage actor. His Wiki is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khari_Jones

Here are a few representative images.....

So the main question is...
Should I see it?

Yes - well worth seeing - in particular, if you are aware of one of the death's on the C-train. Two of the actors are excellent. The only minor contention is to recognize the transition between "now" and "the time of the accident" which happens often through the play.
