Amazing. Last one is great.

How did you get it to settle on your thumb? Must be hard trying to shoot one handed.

Thanks Crpto and elysium for the comments :)

elysium - I just stuck my finger in front of it's nose and it walked on- think they like the extra warmth. I've got used to shooting one handed like this- you simply rest the camera lens on the hand the bug is on.

You never cease to amaze me Brian. I love the detail and the clarity of the first one. The last pic is my second favorite.

Great series Brian. That's some magic finger you got there, always manage to coax something onto it.

Gorgeous! Love #5 - really lovely shot.

Saw a really fresh one in my garden today warming up in the sun so I didnt disturb it by trying to get a pic.

Bad luck with the hail storm, it was really lovely here today, so made use of my days off and did some gardening :-)

Thanks Gary,Linda and Chris for looking and commenting :)

Thanks Toby and Bill :)
Toby- only excuse for #3 was I wanted a clear shot of the body pattern for ID purposes.
