Preference, composition, feel, etc, etc, etc please.

PS - I changed the title of the post to reflect by current mini-fascination on song lyrics. It still fits, though.

The composition needs improvments. The rockers should be to the left of the photo instead of the right.
Also the shawdow on the first rocker is a little distracting

the shadow is very distracting...this is one of those you want to revisit through different times of the day, figure out the best lighting...a slighlty overcast day might make a big difference, or early morning

What you are looking at here is a 4x5 crop of a 2x3 frame. The only thing that was on the right was another post, which I did not feel added to the shot. That was my reason for cropping it out.

The morning was very bright. All of the highlights on the shot were VERY cyan. It took a lot of work to get them the same tan color of the rest of the shot. I think I was so intent on that, I did not notice the shadow. Is it really that distracting?

I found an unedited copy on my laptop, so I am able to show you what I started. Is this uncropped composition better?

Rad,

I agree with the above comments. Also, in teh BW one the light on the left most window really stands out for me and I find it quite distracting. I prefer the colour one because the light seems 'warmer' and blends in with the red wood.

Cheers
