Yup- he definitely looks serious in that pic. He seems to look serious when he's posing for pics. Funny thing is that he's usually pretty goofy when not posing.

Here's a less serious pic...of him sleeping.

Poor guy- my wife put the hat on him but he didn't seem to mind.

Charlie does look serious ... but also quite regal.

Here's my buddy Latte. A true loyal friend who I love him so much! I never had any experience with Cockers until my wife (pictured in the B&W) and I bought this little guy. He can read peoples' emotions and feelings better than a shrink. He pretty much reflects the most dominant portions of our own personalities exactly... its pretty funny really.

first as a 2 month old pup, second with my wife a couple months ago

Dang - 17?!?!!?! that is awesome... my wife will be so happy that our pup is good for another 14 + years :-)

It's at the top end of the scale, but she keeps plugging along. She is totally deaf (had both inner ear workings removed years ago due to continuous infections), but nothing wrong with her eyes and nose!

And, by the way - in my post where I complimented "Charlie" - I meant to say "Latte" (Charlie is adorable too but I'd already commented on him). Simba looks pretty special too.

Gotta love Cockers.

This is my 2 1/2 year old Flash. He and the rest of his litter were born in a thunderstorm so they were all named for weather phenomena of some sort (his brother is "Boomer"). Taken at night in my home office, where he sits across from my desk. Canon 40d with offshoe flash bracket and home made reflector.

Flash's mother is brown and white, his father black and white. Flash ended up with black and white face, with an almost entirely white body (only some dalmatian-like spots). His siblings are showdogs but his coloring prevented the breeder from showing him too, so the breeder parted with him.

Flash made a dog-lover out of my wife and is an intelligent, loving and extremely funny friend to me and my 2 sons.

The camera is still pretty new to her. She really doesn't seem to mind I can't get in her face with it though or she'll move away from it.

My buddy recovering from a massive operation.
We found that Milo had 2 masses growing on his spleen this past weekend. I was basically told that if i didn't operate these masses could rupture causing internal bleeding and basically kill him. MRI confirmed that i has bled a bit already, one of the masses was very small but the other was a big as a baseball. last Friday night i took him to the Emergency pet vet he was operated on saturday removing the 2 masses as well the removal of his spleen. A visual inspection of all organs was conducted to make sure there were no more masses present. he has a 12" incision in his belly running from the bottom of his rib cage to the scrotum area. Vets told me that a biopsy was going to be conducted to see if it was cancerous and that they were taking a sample of his liver do to cancer will first go after the liver. all this waiting all these days were weighing on me heavily.. i took 7 days off work.. yesterday i called to give them an update on his healing and eating habits and they told me the results of his biopsy.

MILO DOES NOT HAVE ANY CANCER.!!! for all the money that was spent to save his life, i sacrificed a crucial turning point in my life....

I DO NOT REGRET IT ONE BIT.. I LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS I LOVE MY KIDS..

ohhh bless him, what a lucky boy Milo is. Close calls like that are very very stressful, been there done that several times with my dogs :( I really hope he continues to improve and get better - show us more pics soon please :D
