I don't like the lighting on any of them except #2.
In #1 the large hot spot on the upper left arm takes the eyes away from her face. The lighting on her face is from below. Generally speaking, lighting from below is usually described as "ghoulish".

Oh, thats a great point! I thought it looked good until you said that :) I have to learn somehow! Thank you! This is really the first time I've ever worked with off camera flash, I hope I"m getting at least SOMETHING right lol

Have to agree with Robert on the first on and it also looks a bit OOF too.
You're on the right track with you lighting on the 2nd one but you might want to pick a more subdued color next time. Her blouse overwhealms the picture somewhat. Maybe crop the bottom to about the middle of her upper arm would help

3 is OK too but still the pokadot dress is not the best choice for portraits. They are all about faces. You want to watch out for cut off limbs, hands fingers ect.

I really like 4. The blouse is not as much an issue because of the subdued color an I like that soft look. You might want to have included all of her hand holding the flower next time.

I'm not an expert and I'm still learning so take what I say with a grain of salt and keep shooting and posting. There are many here who are really good at this to help you along.
