How about using a life-size converter with other lenses...

....not just the 50 f2.5 macro....has anyone tried this? I am thinking of buying the life-size converter but would like to try it with other lenses too (as a teleconverter of sorts).

The Life-Size Converter for the 50 macro has optics; it isn't just an extension tube. As such, it's optimized for the 50. I'd be very dubious about using it with anything else.

Hi Joytek,

there was an article some time ago in EOS magazine about mixing the LSC with the tiltshift lenses giving you control of the plane of focus at macro distances. I must admit that I got the LSC with this in mind but have never got around to trying it.
