G5 Len's and Adapter fit the G6?

will the G5 lens and adapter fit the G6, or will have to buy new?

You have to buy a new adapter, the G5's will not fit. The threads on the Canon adapter are 58mm.

Well, I'm not sure what you mean by "the G5 lens". Do you mean an accessory lens that you bought? If it has 58mm threads, it should work on the G6 (assuming you have the new adapter), since the G5 built-in lens is essentially the same as the G6 lens.

What Barton meant to say was the Telephoto, Close-up and Wide lenses for the G3, G5, and G6 are all the same. However the lens adapter for the G3/G5 will not work with the G6.
