What should I do with it? Where should I go first?
Or second, considering the ducks are paramount...

I see your location is the Canadian Pacific Rail HQ - how about some train pics?

Good suggestion - CPR HQ is in Calgary, Alberta, about 1 1/2 hour drive from the Rocky Mountains (Banff, AB). Another possibility (to show the length of some grain trains - which can be staggering) would be east of Calgary on the open prairie; this lens might produce some interesting results from the right vantage point.

Road trip to the prairies!
I have to admit, I don't get east of the city much at all. I'm a mountain guy.
Time to take me some photos of pikas or something ;)
Analog, get to know me a little better and you'll realize that train photos are a given! :p

Looking at my avatar, you'll know I understand the prairies.:D

If you look out your window, the odds are you're looking at the prairie - it's just that Calgary folks don't want to admit it.;)

Don't the trains ever go east anymore? They did when I spent three days in Calgary in August 07.

I'm on the western edge of the city, so it's fairly hilly and treed...

That's out my window. (10mm)

Has the city grown that far west?

There is a gas station straight west of Calgary where hiding a car in the bush would be pretty tricky - unless it was flattened first, then you could hide it in a ditch.

Hilly yes - I stayed in the Canada West campground in a motorhome and it was not a very level site as it's just east of the Olympic park.

Shooting the moon, also a given ;)
I was going to go exercise it on some trains, but there was an accident near Lake Louise and there won't be any trains until tomorrow.
Time to go get me some ducks!

Sweet. I just moved out here to the beach from Hidden valley 2 years ago.
Very hilly there.

Whats your view to the west?

Obscured by trees and houses and stuff.
