I just updated my FVU to 1.3.2.9 and Image Browser to 3.6.0.11. I adjusted the exposure in FVU and converted the files to tif. When I view them in Image Browser those files look much darker than the original files before I adjusted the exposure. Is there something I did wrong? I know that I didn't have this problem before the update.
I also have a situation with the color orange printing up red and purples, blue, on a Kodak 8670 PS Thermal Printer.
I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks

What did you do to adjust the exposure in FVU? Did you make it lighter than what it originally was and then save as a TIFF file only to find that it got darker when viewed through ImageBrowser?

That's exactly what happened. I increased the exposure and even adjusted the white balance on some photos, brought it into Image Browser and they appeared darker.

Go into FVU and click on "File Viewer Utilty>>Preferences...". Then click on the "RAW Image Processing settings". See if the Linear checkbox at the top is checked. If it is, uncheck it and try your conversion again.

I figured it out the day after I posted the message. That was exactly what was causing the problem.
Thanks Leo.
